New Time for Summer Schedule

Starting this week, WMBR will be on a new schedule for summer. For the next couple of months Vapor Funk will be every Thursday night midnight to 1 AM Eastern Time. Unfortunately this conflicts with Elements. But, I guess that will make Vapor Funk a good alternative for those Thursday nights when you can't make it to Elements but still want to listen to drum and bass. However, this week y'all should definitely try to make it to Elements because The Statesmen will be headlining. They're a kick ass Boston-area drum and bass crew and are guaranteed to play a solid set.

Nickdawg at Elements

Boston massive! Check out Nickdawg at Elements (Phoenix Landing in Central Square) tomorrow night. It should be an awesome show. Not only is he a really cool dude, but he runs a genuinely great blog. Check it out for info about Boston area dance music events plus all sorts of general interest posts about music production and even graphic design. Nickdawg also periodically posts sick mixes that he has recorded of various different dance music genres.

Dieselboy at Elements

If you're in the Boston area tomorrow night, check out Dieselboy at Elements. He is one of the founding fathers of stateside drum and bass and this show is going to be massive! The last time he spun at Elements, there was a line outside that went down the street. So, get there early and be ready to dance. I'll be there for sure.
